Oliverian School Visits Honduras in May

In May, students from the Oliverian School in New Hampshire spent a week in Honduras with CARE.

The team spent two days working at the school in La Lucia – helping lay tile flooring in the school’s new classroom, digging holes for trees, constructing a wall along the backside of the school, and re-painting the school desks.

We then held two days of medical clinics, where the students worked to support our Honduran medical staff. In the two clinic days, we served over 765 patients!

The team also brought down an impressive number of donated items to use at our clinic sites and has since raised money to contribute to our upcoming school-building project in Javier Sorriano. Great work to the crew from the Oliverian School!!
