Nine students from Manheim Township Highschool are ready to leave Lancaster at 2AM Sunday morning for their flight to Tegucigalpa Honduras. Three students have previously been on a trip to Honduras with Central American Relief Efforts.
During their week of work and adventure, the first two days they will be helping to install a water system at a medical clinic in Pespire, Honduras. The following two days will be spent in San Marcos, Honduras repairing an eye clinic and visiting schools to provide the students with dental hygiene and eye screening.
The students will also be able to enjoy a cultural experience with students and members of the communities they are working in. We are excited about this upcoming trip!
